Scientific Name: Pseudochromis nigrovittatus
English Name: Blackstripe dottyback

It is a dottyback. However, I’d been wondering identification after taking those photos.
No confident information was found in books for identification nor on internet.
But finally, I might have reached a conclusion as above. Comparing to the other image, the observed has lighter colored stripe, and the upper part is more pinky.
撮影してから長らく同定ができずにもやもやしていたのですが、恐らくこれだろうという情報を見つけられました。
しかし、情報によると当種は通常シンガポールでみられる個体なのかは微妙なところで、自信はありません。メギスの世界も奥が深いようです。
